Main Features
  • Screw assembly consisting of inter meshing segmented screw sections mounted and tempered hexagonal/Splined screw shafts. Various types of conveying elements and kneading elements are arranged in configuration to suit the varied processing requirement. Screw sections are in nitride hardened on in through hardened steels.
  • Barrel assembly consists of various segmented barrels such as: closed barrels with top opening for main feed, Barrels with side opening for additional feeds, barrels with top opening for volatile extraction.
  • Gear box is lubricated, with profile ground gears and stack thrust bearing assembly for taking thrust loads where necessary. Forced Lubrication to gears and bearing with separate lubrication pump.
  • Six pluses thyristor drive for extruder AC variable investor provided with adequate safety features to take care of overloads. Barrel Temperature control is through digital controllers. Control panel provided with fault indication annunciation.
  • Main feed is by single screw optionally belt feeders are provided.
  • Twin screw side feeders are offered for feeding additives.
  • Synchronization of main extruder drive and the feeder drives is standard.
  • Multi strand die mounted on swinging gate for ease of changing screen pack.
  • Post extrusion equipment such as: Multi strand die, water cooling bath, hot air knife, palletizer offered, water ring palletizer and pallet drives also offered.
